German director Fritz Lang's ground-breaking Sci-Fi epic METROPOLIS (1924) had its Makabra Ensemble live soundtrack debut at the 2012 Celludroid Film Festival in June. If you missed it or want to catch it again, and find yourself in the Cape Town area, there are very limited seats available for a special performance at the 10th anniversary Creative Week event of Sound & Motion Studios. NO TERMINATRYX AUGUST LIVE SHOWS

Terminatryx guitarist Patrick and his partner Dauline are heading to Slovenia for a holiday
at Metal Camp to enjoy some of their favourite bands, so there will be no Terminatryx live shows for August.

NEW TERMINATRYX TRACK



The new Terminatryx song "Shadow"
was submitted to the MK music channel's MVP project where they select about a dozen songs
for which they supply a music video budget.
"Shadow" was inspired by the silent movie Dr.Jekyll & Mr. Hyde during the Terminatryx-linked Makabra Ensemble
soundtrack created for its performance at the 2011 South African HorrorFest Film Festival.
From there it developed into a darkly evocative song and has had good response at live shows.
It was recorded at Flamedrop Productions with additional recording and mixing at
Bellville Studios with Theo Crous late June.
