New Album Title & Artwork Announcement
The new Terminatryx studio album title will be "SHADOW"
and the sleeve design will be handled by long-time photographic collaborator Dr-Benway.
Concepts have been discussed and the first photo-session will happen mid-May.

APRIL 2013

New Album Recording
Studio time has been booked for the next Terminaryx album, across May & June 2013!
Besides pre-production at Flamedrop Productions, the album will be recorded at
Bellville studios, and co-produced by Theo Crous and Paul Blom.

Two of the new tracks have already been recorded with co-producer Theo Crous at Bellville Studios.
With pre-production currently taking place at Flamedrop Productions, the first half of May will be spent at Bellville Studios,
while for the other half Terminatryx will invade Simon Ratcliffe's Sound & Motion Studios.
An IndieGoGo campaign is being activated.

News will follow soon on a prospective release date of the next Terminatryx studio album,
as the band is awaiting news on where they'll fit into the solidly booked Bellville Studios schedule
to finished the rest of the recording.
Some of the tracks will be available for free soon.

TRACK RECORDING SESSIONS FOR UPCOMING NEW TERMINATRYX ALBUM !

Early January 2013 Paul & Sonja entered Bellville Studios with Theo Crous to record the new track "Scars"
(set to appear on the next full length album)

Thursday 3 January:
Worked on some string / synth arrangements and bass lines underneath the imported Pro Tools demo session of the song.
(Head out to a workshop with Theo to check out the new spray job on his Lamborghini).
Towards the end of the first day, we also laid down Sonja's guide vocal track for the song, which can in fact be
retained as backing to the main vocal (to be recorded 15 Jan).

Friday 4 January:
Paul and Theo incorporated some rhythm guitar tracks, and considered the song's structure and key,
and whether it should be shifted up... Used both Paul's Epiphone Les Paul shape flame-job guitar, and the
studio's white Gibson Explorer.
Paul lay down live drums to be blended with the programmed beats for more punch.

Friday 15 January:
Finished tracking all the instruments - last bits included lead & backing vocals, a few guitar leads & distorted bass guitar
(on Paul's 4-string Hohner / Steinberger) .
While constantly tweaking as the sessions progressed, Theo will now shape and mix the rest of it. First mix expected soon!

(An in-studio video is in the works which will feature clips of the process and the song with interviews).
